Fourteen days. Ask, and it's done.

Every plugin has a full 14-day trial, so you can be sure before you buy. If you buy anyway and it doesn't work out, this is how a refund works. It's the same policy as in our terms, on its own page.

Who refunds you

Licences are sold by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our merchant of record. Paddle took your payment and holds your invoice, so Paddle is also who gives the money back, under Paddle's refund policy. The refund goes to the payment method you used, usually within five to ten working days of approval.

How long you have

Fourteen days from purchase, for any reason. If the plugin doesn't work for you, ask and you'll get a refund. We'd rather refund than have you keep something you don't use. Outside fourteen days, write to us anyway; if something is broken on our side we'll put it right, which sometimes means a refund.

Consumers in the UK and EU also have a legal 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. Because a licence key is delivered the moment you pay, the checkout asks you to agree to immediate delivery; how that affects the cancellation right is set out in Paddle's buyer terms. Our own fourteen-day promise above applies regardless, so in practice the answer is the same.

How to ask

1. Go to paddle.net, Paddle's buyer portal, and find the order by the email address you bought with. Choose refund.
2. Or email hello@monoglyphaudio.com with the same address and we'll put the request in front of Paddle from our side.

Both routes end in the same place. You don't need to say why, though if something didn't work we'd like to know.

What happens to the licence

When a purchase is refunded in full, or a card dispute reverses it, the licence key from that purchase stops working. Nothing you made with the plugin is touched, and your patterns and presets stay on your machine.

What this policy doesn't do

There are no qualifiers to trip over: no "all sales are final", no restocking charge, no proof of anything. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by any of this.
